Never gave much of a damn about the original Guild Wars. At the time my interest was entirely consumed by WoW. But recently I started reading up on Guild Wars 2. Its kind of blowing my mind a little. They are making some really unique design decisions.

It's one of my more anticipated games. I hope it doesn't let us down. They are saying all the right shit at this point though.

So I think I have obsessively viewed every video of this that is on youtube. Between the shit they are saying and the vids I have seen I think this game may be the real deal. It is beautiful, removes the mmo grind and is all about being awesome and having fun.

For what it is worth I still enjoy this game. I play it on and off. I just reached max level and finally joined an active guild. It is ideal for me most content can be done an hour or less and with a group of 5 or fewer. Also since there is no subscription you dont feel guilty about neglecting it for weeks at a time.

I'm with Ugsome. I came back after a hiatus with it and am playing it almost daily (the introduction of the laurels helped with that). But I am not in an active guild, I'm in the pirates. ;-)

I installed it. Which is more than I can say about KotoR and DCUO.
