Driving an atv across a field at a million miles per hour (or kpm for you non-American weirdos) bouncing around like a mad man thinking you are going to spill only to bail right outside flag and pull your gun and mow dudes down...
Bf3 never does anything close to that. It's slow moving tanks, dense levels with no sight lines, sniper rifles that suck and shotguns that are godlike, and air battle with jets that has absolutely no fucking bearing on the battle below, a lower level of destruction on maps that aren't nearly as cool anyway.
To get good at bf3 what you need to do is play tdm, find a corner that you can't get shot in the ass in... and fucking camp it. And that's exactly the formula for success in COD. And I'm not sayin that's not fun, it is, but it's not unique. I felt like bfbc2 was unlike any other shooter on consoles. I don't think that's true of bf3.
